in 11 days, Sir David Attenborough will be 100 years old. (May 8th) He has led such an amazing life, and I can think of no one more deserving to reach that milestone
One of the most iconic voices this world has ever heard...
When he leaves this dimension, he should be given full state funeral honours. An absolute legend of mankind.
The child gorillas playing next to David were 3 year old Pablo and infant Poppy. It was Pablo that went to sit on David. The film crew team and David went back years later and saw that Pablo became a top Silverback leader 🦍⛰ and he had the largest family/ troop ever recorded, he had a massive family of 53, this included all his wives, mum, aunties, siblings and children. It just shows how strong, powerful, caring and gentle, wonderful leader Pablo was. He died aged 33 yrs while protecting his family. Bless him and all Gorillas 🦍⛰🌳🌴🌿🌾💚
The mother Gorilla trusted him not to hurt her babies. He has led an extraordinary life and like Jane Goodall we should be grateful he has brought nature right into our homes with the most exciting stories.
Just think of the generations who get to share such wonders of our earth with this beautiful human being. Thank you David.
I can remember, even as a kid, that when I heard that voice, I knew it was going to be a great documentary.
2:36. Such pure joy on David's face! 😊❤
The body language of that gorilla during Attenborough’s encounter was incredible calm on the surface, yet full of controlled strength. That’s real dominance.
He's the best possible person this could have happened to. I'm glad gorillas got to meet him.
David will be 100 in a few weeks. He has given us extraordinary insights into the natural world! Wish we could keep you for another 100, David! ❤
What a full life you have, Sir David Attenborough! Full of such amazing memories.
It's crazy how much Younger David sounds like Older David. If I could meet anyone on earth, it'd be an hour with him.
Animals know who has a good heart.
This is why I love Sir David Attenborough so much.
Sir David AttenBourgh, may the sun forever shine on u... when u r gonna, the world will have lost a global treasure.
Wow, this video truly captures the gentle soul of gorillas—so different from their fierce reputation! Nature always surprises us.
The new babysitter😅
The BBC said they would release this on You Tube tonight . They did , its awonderous piece of film . Happy 100 years Sir David . Its a pleasure to know you.
Sometimes the most powerful moments in life happen when we stop trying to control them.
