I just started a beehive in my backyard. It wasn’t for the honey production. I’m not looking forward to harvesting it. I did it to help bees. So far, they seem to be thriving. I love my bees 🐝 😊

Every insect/animal is smarter than we think they are. I still believe all life feels and thinks.
Always a master class from Bertie Gregory on how to see nature as a “thou," not an “it." Nature isn't just an object of study and fascination, but rather, a sacred relative, similar to how indigenous peoples see the world. Bertie seems every bit the proud papa encouraging a “newborn bee” to emerge from her waxy cell, take first steps, and crawl onto his hand as he lifts the "baby" into the air. Beautiful.

And people say there is no God;no intelligent creator or designer..... That these marvelous bees are only a product of randomness or evolution of some sort. How can something evolve from nothing? How can something come from nothing? Bees are some of God's best works of art, intelligence, and design.
