Dan is unironically one of the coolest most underrated musicians we have fr. Insane range, ethereal voice, and all his side quests are him caring for the planet 🔼 bastille’s most recent record ampersand reminded me sonically of all this bad blood and drew me back in, and I’m so glad I still love me some Bastille / Dan Smith 😌
I wish people appreciated more other of their songs… he must be exhausted of Pompeii and they truly have other literally works of art ❤
the orchestra elevated this song to another level! divine 🤎🌋
My favourite version of my favourite song. Dan has the best voice out there and given his commitment to better humanity and our planet I can tell how much this would have meant to him. I feel oddly proud.
How am I gonna be an octopus about this?! 🐙
What an honour to have been picked to honour sir David. Divine version of the song too.
But if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like nothing changed at all.
Would love to have the full background video with this as the soundtrack over it.
What an absolutely incredible performance!❤️Such a breathtaking voice, and the choir and orchestra were completely magnificent. Truly stunning!❤️😌
The mix is awful to start with. Think Jonsi was struggling to hear himself to start with.
A fantastic piece of emotive music.
Love the song and Dan's voice and the orchestra but the sound mixing is so poorly done. I feel sorry for the performers.
So... is his breathing part of the singing? Is his weird hand movement supposed to be inspiring? Is the painful over enunciation and straining of the words artistic? I'm not a hater, but wowza. This was kind of painful. The orchestra was lovely, though.
I will never skip a Dan X Choir moment😮💨😮💨🔥 they NEVER miss
Amazing performance. Congratulations for 100 birthday Sir David ❤
