A brutal test of stamina and altitude. Watching the eagles pick their target in the thin mountain air is nature at its most relentless!
My favourite animal Golden Eagle 💛
20 years of Planet Earth and 100 of Sir David!
The footage was truly breathtaking! The confrontation between the golden eagle and the Demoiselle crane in the Himalayas was both dramatic and emotional. This is truly top-notch quality from BBC Earth, thank you for this amazing footage!
Demoiselle Cranes are migrated from Mongolia to India
Golden Eagle: "Gotta eat."
In the wild survival is not always about strength sometimes it is about standing together when fear should make you run Respect to BBC Earth for showing this deeper truth
Nature doesn’t wait for anyone—survival is a race against time and weather.
Sehr schön 🤠
Amazing 🤩
From Himalayas High ....Eagles over Stream ....for Control Flight...and Live
Horrendous scene of suffering. (typical of planet earth)
I really want to know how this was filmed. I'm guessing from a helicopter using a very large handheld lense.
Those golden eagles are true masters of the Himalayas – majestic and merciless!
When your commute involves dodging golden eagles... I thought traffic was bad in my city!
One of my favourite scenes from the entire series, and still one of the best golden eagle footage ever
This migration shows how energy, altitude, and predation all intersect. Crossing the Himalayas pushes these cranes to their physiological limits low oxygen, strong winds, and predators.
Crane should have used the crane kick like in Karate Kid!
La migración a través del Himalaya muestra no solo resistencia física, sino también una increíble precisión en el tiempo y la navegación. La amenaza constante de las águilas doradas añade una tensión real a cada momento.
