I worked at McDonald's in the mid 60's. At that time the fries were made from fresh potatoes. We got the potatoes in 50lb bags and we then peeled, washed, and sliced the potatoes.
Nothing about Five Guys is “free”. The exorbitant prices basically pay for all those “free” toppings. $25 for a burger, fries, and coke. Nope.
I’d rather pay $1 more to get beef tallow rather than crap ingredients! I had the good ones from the 70s and they were so good.
