this is not a good way of explaining timers and switches. timers are essentially just wounds that if not treated are going to kill you probably within minutes. switches are instant. lights out, dead. timers will have your body go into the different stages of shock while switches are things that your body cant even try to compensate for. think of like, getting shot in the head, or suffering catastrophic trauma to your heart. this concept is kinda stupid tho, because people survive all types of things that should kill them instantly. timers and switches is really just military cool guys kind of acting like they understand the human body.
