The girls narrating at the beginning and end said at the end that “a few of the kids even started talking this year”. So they were all traumatized and it seems like the longer a person was under her spell, the longer it took to recover.

This is the first movie I've ever seen that properly portrays witchcraft. As a Scandinavian it infuriates me to see how Wicca and black magic has been almost romanticised by Americans over the years.
