These AI assistants are just *wrong* so often. Can you imagine getting a RSVP list and someone important was left off because it just hallucinated a response? Give me a good old-fashioned google form for that sort of thing and call it a day.

An entire presentation of nothing but demonstrations on how AI is going to screw you? I wonder why people didn't like it.
I just don't understand how we can expect an agent to be consistently reliable even in the RSVP example. It just takes one screw up for someone to be upset and cause unnecessary drama. i.e. it misses someone, gets their info wrong, etc... Why even risk that?
After all, Microsoft did so well with Copilot! What could possibly go wrong with Google Copilot?
Also the Google guy was using a iPhone while using the new Google Software products didn't help.
I just want them to make products that people can buy, not rent from a data center.

I've yet to spend a single cent on an AI service or product. I'm not ruling it out on principle. I just haven't seen anything developed so far that I gotta fork over cash for.

According to the plugin the ratio is about 70% like 30% dislike which is high, but it's more likely that the view numbers are massively inflated for some reason.

Why would anyone like it? They introduced like 50 different AI "tools" with various amounts of overlap and all named in a way that's completely opaque to their actual use-case. Who the hell would possibly remember which tool is needed for what? It's WAY too many tools.
Anthropic's estimate that they will be profitable this quarter is using non-GAAP accounting and more than likely creative accounting by deferring costs until next quarter; the xAI data center deal has a teaser rate for the first couple months, alongside anthropic themselves saying only this quarter will be profitable this year.
