Trick with 2k clear coat is one light mist coat, wait till it's tacky then one heavy gloss coat.

Been following this build. My boss in 97 had a Type R that was white with white rims. I remember he was always doing stuff to it. I might be wrong but I thought his interior was gray with different color gray (like lighter and darker) shapes on the center of the seats I also thought it had little red specs or shapes mixed in but idk 🤷🏽‍♂️ I just remember him giving me rides home every now and then and I loved it. I know for sure it had red trim on the engine, but I don't know if that's something he did or it was stock. I do remember when he got a full exhaust, it was header all the way back, but it didn't sound like the typical straight pipe 4 that wooom pop pop pop, it actually sounded really good. Seemed fast sitting in the passenger seat. It looked exactly like yours but white. Definitely brings back those memories watching this. Crazy how the 90s era cars like that are still some of the best looking cars ever made. Can't wait to see this one finished
