Brandon, my man! From the lens of a founder what I found valuable is trust which is something that you mention a lot. However, I’m also interest to see content on how the firm interacts with its portfolio companies. Giving a deeper dive on this would give the audience a richer outlook on how the firm invest in their companies both monetarily and support wise. As we all know money and ideas are infinite.
Hey Brandon, awesome videos man. I was wondering if you could dedicate a video to a deep dive on the current economy. I feel like a lot of analysis and opinions out there are from tech engineers, CEOs/founders, economists, or journalists - but I haven't seen any VCs give their input on this topic, despite being so involved in the startup and funding scene. I feel like you would have a very unique and informative perspective on things like: - How is the current market and economy shifting? - Compare and contrast how larger companies and startups are being impacted by the current economy/market. And as a result, how does that impact VC firms like yourself? - Given the current state of the economy, what's your insight on how this changes the way startup founders, as well as founding engineers, should approach their careers? What do you see successful founders and early hires doing to adapt to this current market? I just feel like this would be a fascinating topic, especially from a VC perspective, because while all the layoffs and mass unemployment are happening, VCs still have an unlimited amount of money to spend. There's so much room for an educational discussion, as well as a first-person point of view from a VC partner like yourself. Thanks again!
