Honestly i listen to you for the news and just because i enjoying your content. I'm not following new products, not looking at new hardware, i don't ever care about stuff like monitors. It is just meh and I'm slowly caring ever less about news
I'm still holding onto my 5900x and 6900xt that I overpaid for during the crypto boom. Built my wife a 3080 mini itx system and my son an arc a770 3900x system for Minecraft. Probably going to just wait for some good used am5 x3d cpu.
Sorry paul I have no interest on any news from computex this year. It's going to be: GPUs that i can't afford, cases that I won't buy because I have nothing to put on it and tech with AI stamped on it as a gimmick. I just wont bother.

So I think it’s really corporate AI selling, they’re needing this major demand. Let’s hope we’ll reach rock bottom soon. We can look forward to that day when things start to get better again.
I encourage anyone that has a dream case to go out and buy it as soon as they can. Some companies will go under and some products will likely go out of production as case companies try to stay solvent.
It’s been rough. Bought a new PSU (one I’d been waiting for since CES) and Amazon didn’t bother to put it in a box. It arrived with the hell beat out of it. That just made my day.
Trying to stay positive, but man. Lost my job because the company over committed to AI and it was easier to cut people than reverse server farm builds. Most of my close friends moved away after changing jobs. And the job market is... It's bad. Really trying to have hope.... I just can't see any positives. 😢
I've been thinking about this recently and we're probably gonna have to start taking steps back with gaming in terms of hardware and development. Indie developers continue to prove that you don't need the fanciest next gen graphics to make a fun, enjoyable game.

This PC situation is awful, I got lucky the last thing I needed was a mass storage drive, got a 12 TB one but now I sit and wonder if I'll be able to build another high end PC in the future again...
