Open Source is just incredible. I wish there was just a better way for open source maintainers to get their work funded so they can continue to innovate.

This video was uploaded blazingly fast. You have a very good knowledge in bleeding edge technologies. Your channel is truly gamechanger.
I'm always surprised by the level of commitment you put into discovering up and coming projects, it's really great!
For a second, I thought the hi-mom package was built by Jeff. Definitely inspired by him.
Open source is insanely great "Just remember to support the programmers behind it, it takes time and a lot of resources to maintain and even build those projects in the first place".
I like how Remote Procedure Call is coming back to the scene, Java EE tried to implement it waaaay back and was not that successful, and now its bundled as a new trending way to do stuff. History repeats itself lol.
I feel like all of these projects are mind blowing. Don't even know where to start. Great video as usual
We desperately need a part 2
I started my career as a react developer but over the three years I switched to backend gradually and now completely. I still watch fireship videos every now and then to remind myself how frontend tech can drive you mentally insane.
I'm gonna watch this video over and over every few couple of months, just so I can make use of everything that can make my life easier :) Open source community is absolutely fking amazing! <3
Actually blowing up all these smaller but important projects is amazing, keep it up!
everything is open source when you can read assembly
at first I expected 10 crappy open source alternatives but ooh man I was so wrong these are the best you can find. good work Fireship you always amaze us 🔥
Love that tRPC was included here! It's really an amazing tool that makes building full-stack apps so much easier
2:09 There's also a search library called Stork which runs entirely statically, without the need for any running server, like Meilisearch. You build your index beforehand so it may not be ideal if you have 100k searchable items, but pretty good for most hobby projects.
Danfo and others like it are very exciting. With web assembly we can probably approach the performance of pandas, and if you need to loop though data, I think JS is already way faster than python.
Let me introduce my VSCode extension "Blockman". It is a visual helper, it highlights entire nested code blocks.
Okay, mantine looks awesome might give it a go for my next startup failure!
We absolutely need more of these videos. It's incredible how powerful open source is.
