if AI can replace programmers, since 90's Excel still not replacing accountant, AI is a tools for programmers like Excel, is like tools for accountant

Complexity in software isn't something to underestimate. Sure, for quick API connections, i might use nocode api, but real coding is a whole different game.

Just like with WordPress. People said it would replace web developers. Instead, it created more opportunities for developers because it became much more affordable for small businesses to have websites.

Software Developers won't be replaced for the foreseeable future, but AI can significantly enhance productivity, reducing the demand for as many software developers.

From someone with a basic coding knowledge who failed miserably trying to create an app with about 4 different AI models, you guys are safe!

Ai replacing programers is like thinking autopilots will replace pilots

im a huge fan of ai, and a paying customer of chatgpt and yet i couldnt produce quality production code with chatgpt, no matter good the prompts are or the context given. Sure it generates lot of codes but wrong code, either in logic, sometimes in characters and you have no other choice than to read 100% of all generated code to refactor it and correct it, which defeats the whole purpose of using AI gaining time, especially when the errors are hard to detect because they are different to what you are used to and because IA is still a good text generator so code errors are kinda hidden. Writting code is not like writing a book. You can move words in phrases and you can still understand. With code, you have no error margin.

To this day i still hear truck drivers are being repalced by ai and yet im still driving and making money sooooo yeah i totally agree people with zero talent complain instead of thinking of knowing anyhting about the job they believe will be taken over by ai

I don't mind when someone without a tech background tells me this But its a bit sad when some of my classmates in engineering tell me, like you're supposed to know the reality about these things better than anyone

Ai wont replace programmers, it'll just help them code.

Im getting into programming and im 15 and i really feel like AI will only make programming so much faster like iv learned so much in just 2 months on my own

i use nocode on a daily basis and we shipped some solid products ! the tech is doing wonders . yes i agree that you'll always have advantage using code over a vendor locked solution of drag & drop with some level of flexibility but if you're looking to launch fast or test an idea , nocode is a valid & viable solution

they said the same thing about language your brain is simple, don't confuse competence with intelligence.
