I used to use Barrier as well, but it a dead project. Fork Input leap, but then another dead fork. Now the best solution and is up to date is deskflow.
UrBackup is being maintained again. It just had a resent server and client update in February and March of this year.
Many thanks, very informative, especially when hearing about the software you were using instead.
Yeah, I stopped using Portainer for those same reasons. I am currently trying out Dockhand
What are you using instead of truenas then?
Thanks for this video. Sometimes OSS just sucks, as a dev it inspires me to build better alternatives
I run PiHole on a LePotato, can't remember when I last saw an ad
8:02 ironically I went from nextcloud notes joplin due to better dates and better markdown system
Joplin is coool!
Love watching your videos man ,,, appreciate your efforts ❤
the #1 thing I look for in my invoicing software is the ability to hallucinate. thanks, crater!
Ty for the video. Barrier is discontinued. Input leap is the fork of it I think.
PBX = Private Branch Exchange. Normally used as an internal phone system for a business (employees have an "extension" number and can call each other) which also is the interface through to the PoTS (= Plain Old Telephone System AKA public telephone network).
I switched from Pi hole to AdGuard over a year ago. It’s been solid for me.
Dag, so many on this list were some of the first containers I created via your channel & website. Change is inevitable! Did you ever look at Tactical RMM? It's built on Mesh Central and has become my primary RMM solution for the last 3+ years...even though I also use Guac :) Thanks for the update!
Zulip or nextcloud talk for family chat? I noticed you used talk with your family.
I use Pie adblocker with chrome. No ads....ever. No popups during any videos...ever.
Goodv video , for summary of Disadvantage of using open source software.
At 11:00 the church clocks starts 8 "ding dongs" :) Had to mute and hear if it was here :P
Hi, greetings frrom Croatia, long time subscriber of yours. I realy do like your content here. So i have a bit of an odd request. I do maintainn my servers as a sysadmin and i have bunc of them. I used PortX, but they god discontinued. Why i used this software because of two features. First being sync you all connections with ports and keys between multiple os using google drive, second was select and copy autamaticaly. Second was not so dramatic but i am looking for replacement terminal with built in sync of multiple connections because i manage lot of them. Do you have some suggestions?
