Thanks for recording, editing, and sharing this. I know it was a lot of work and I appreciate it so much. Excellent video - so awesome to see Canadian caves and cavers highlighted for more than just cool caves. Their contribution to critical medical science and species conservation was a proud highlight for me as a Canadian! 🇨🇦🥰

Really dug this video, it really captures the enthusiasm and passion of everyone I've known in Canadian academia.
I love how seemingly passionate these folks are about science. Some may call it ego, but I digress.

Question: if the “carbon acidified water eroded away the limestone but left the marble untouched causing the stripe pattern of marble we see in the cave” then what caused the scoop out patterns seen in the marble in the cave? Can’t be the water, so what scooped out the stone? 🤔🤷🏼♀️ Cheers

Absolutely great documentary covering two different subjects that I've always been interested in. I used to do a lot of caving when I was younger, and now that I'm old, I have seen the havoc that's super bugs can wreak. I also know that there is not a large financial incentive for pharmaceutical companies to research new antibiotics to combat superbugs.
OMG! When they were squeezing into the unexplored part of the cave I felt like I was there, because I couldn't watch any more; I felt my anxiety getting really bad when I thought to myself what if they can't get through. How did they know they were going to get through that tight spot? Then one of them says, "Do we have to go back the this way"? I'm going crazy!! These guys got some balls on them, really!!
