A decade ago, as an electrician, I was restoring the electrical network in the Postojna Cave. We had access where tourists are not allowed. Very interesting.

and that melting and refreezing has happened hundreds, perhaps thousands of times over 'milions' of years. ANd we've been recording this process for how long? 200 years? We are so smart and know precise;y how horrible humans are and how much damage we've caused. ;)
But surely if humans cut out slabs of ice will hasten the melting of what’s left ? How can that be measured as climate change?
