I was scrolling with nothing to put on and go to bed listening to so I just clicked on this... And then I looked and said oh crap it's uncharted mysteries posted 7 hours ago I'm not going to bed awesome!! Lol yeah I know it's kind of sad but there are very few things that get me excited these days something decent to listen to on a Sunday night it's the relaxation i need ounce a week
I've seen these individually explored but really like the compilation to get people interested in our past. The lack of soot in these caves still baffles science as to how they had light to live and develop these caves is as interesting as the caves.
What we see on the surface is just the tip of the iceberg. Vast cities, roads, complexes riddle the Earth connecting continents. Some were on the surface and buried, but much more were constructed in the subterranean strata. Advanced civilizations we have no record of. Who built the underground architecture and how did they achieve what seems impossible.
This reminds me of a place in Australia called Coober Pedy.. people live underground because it's t too hot above
The crazy part about those underground cities is that most of the citizens that lived above ground during that time probably lived their whole life never knowing it was a whole other world right underneath their feet. The same thing could apply to us today as we drive our cars back and forth to work and deal with the everyday grind completely ignorant to the other side of the coin.
How did they light it? How did the people see? They don’t even talk about that there’s no charm marks all over the ceilings.
The biggest problem with those tunnels is the occasional Balrog.
I think that it is strange that all the theories continue not to take into account all of the ancient sites being uncovered at present. Stop thinking from your conformed ideologies. It is time to admit that we are not this great pinnacle of the evolutionary process from primate to Homo sapiens. It is possible that Earth's atmosphere was different tens of thousands of years ago. According to the ancient text of remote antiquity, beings lived under the ground. It is also shown that the epic of Gilgamesh is an esoteric record of the Earth crossing the place where there has never been a crossing, and that would mean that Earth was not always the third planet from the sun. Even the Egyptian Book of the Dead shows the lnner planets as: North Magnetic Pole (Ra), atmosphere (Shu and Tefenut), ecliptic path (Geb), sky (Nut), Moon (Osiris), Mars (Horus the Red), giant comet (Set), Venus (Isis), Mercury (Nephthys). Later it is changed to: South Magnetic Pole (Atum), atmosphere (She and Tefenut), ecliptic path (Geb), sky (Nut, Moon (Osiris), Venus (Isis), giant comet (Set), Mercury (Nephthys). Also, at one time it only showed Shu as the atmostphere, so there is a lot that is not being revealed to the world. Why are we being kept in the blind? each new discovery shows us that this history is missing something, and then academia comes up with these theories that cannot be proven either way. I guess the scholars never figured that anyone or someone, like myself, would never be able to discern the ancient text instead of interpreting them.
These underground sanctuaries all over the world are far older than the establishment are willing to admit or accept…. I suggest they were built to enable the peoples of the distant past to hide from the falling sky. Every year for centuries the people had the memory of the younger dryas catastrophe when the world was bombarded by comets that fundamentally changed to world, and every year after it continued to happen. The people of the time would go underground each year to hide from the torrid meteor showers

That is a hell of a lot of work to carve out such a vast area underground ! The people that planned them must have been quite intellegent.
We forget that the world used to contain many beings of greater strength and powers than people. To me, these things were not the product of some hidden or lost technology, but the product of beings capable of building them easily.
Maybe Derinkuyu was a refuge for a long-term event— natural or artificial— perhaps lasting for decades???
I had worked in an underground mine that the military had great interest in. No one really talked about their visits to the mine. Over the years with all the discoveries of ancient underground cities, it got me thinking history is repeating itself again. Build up and destroy. The mercury 'lake' is extremely fascinating given what they recently learned about the tomb containing the Terracotta Army and it's mercury lake.
Here is a possible connection between two points: 1. If man (originally) came from inside the earth and after cataclysmic events wiped man from the surface... went up and “repopulated” and “multiplied” on the surface. 2. Could that explain why we can’t survive on the surface without “artificial” means— too much ☀️ or too much 🥶 and we’re done!… but underground, the temperatures are stable, insulated from the surface, mushrooms 🍄 provide essential nutrients, moss is also useful, farming, etc
