_"Liberating the world of open source software"_ is such an insane statement. It's like saying _"liberating the world of democracy"._
CEO: Don't blame us for creating the torment nexus, blame our customers for paying us to create the torment nexus
I genuinely can't tell if he's evil, trolling, or both.
"Are you evil?" "Well, our customers are more evil, because they pay us." Interesting response.
Malus being "Malice" is the sort of writing that if you put it in your fiction story, you'd be called a hack. And yet that is the reality we live in.
Satire has become indistinguishable from reality, and it's not satire's fault.
I can't tell how many layers of parody deep we are, here. Help.
Malus in latin means evil/bad.
"We're liberating open source software" = "we're copying someone else's homework and making it slightly different so the teacher doesn't notice"
Despite all the signs that this was a parody, I literally paid them 50 cents for a test "liberation" to see if it was a joke. The tool actually did something, but not only did it violate cleanroom logic by including implementation instructions in the documentation, but the "liberated" code runs almost twice as slow as the original. And to make it even funnier, the "liberated" code was licensed under... the exact same MIT license as the original. I still don’t know if it's a joke.
"where do you live so I can come visit you at night" had me in tears, thank you
Imagine providing hundreds if not thousands of hours of work for free just to find out someone created a business with business model based on stealing your work and reselling it.
“You wouldn’t take candy from strangers” why do people say this there’s literally an entire holiday for that
it legitimately took me nearly the entire video to determine if this was a joke or not. what a world we live in.
Both models, writing the spec and and writing code, are trained on the same open-source data. Clean room my ass.
"I'm not killing you, im liberating you from worrying about food and water"
“We’re just making our bag” is such a morally bankrupt position. Screw this guy. Screw anyone who’s a customer
Roses are red Violets are blue there's always a tech CEO who can't stop being a turd.
3:16 "liberating the world of open source software" is the stupidest thing I've heard today.
You cannot convince me this is not a joke, specially with this company name
