We're here at Computex 2026 checking out some new Noctua goodies, one of which seems to be a very interesting alternative to thermal paste. Alongside that they're also showing off an AIO which looks pretty nifty Labs article: https://www.lttlabs.com/articles/2026/05/26/carbice-ice-pads Discuss on the forum: https://linustechtips.com/topic/1638725-noctua-says-this-is-thermal-paste/ Check out our Channel Partners: Secretlab - Grab a TITAN Evo ergonomic gaming chair: https://lmg.gg/secretlabltt PIA - Get the VPN of our choice: https://www.piavpn.com/ltt dbrand - Buy a "Circuit" series skin for your device: https://dbrand.com/pcb ► SHOP LTT PRODUCTS: https://lttstore.com ► GET EXCLUSIVE CONTENT ON FLOATPLANE: https://lmg.gg/lttfloatplane ► DIVE DEEPER ON THE LTT LABS WEBSITE: https://lmg.gg/labs ► SPONSORS, AFFILIATES, AND PARTNERS: https://lmg.gg/partners Purchases made through some store links may provide some compensation to Linus Media Group. Thermal paste? Nah, thats a thermal carpet
They're going to put the greatest Technician that's ever lived out of a job.
5:07 man the stamina required to impregnate an entire forest is insane!
thank heavens that they didnt call it Carbon Ultra Nano Tubes
There better be a snippet of Riley yelling about carbon nanotubes somewhere here
wow that noise suppression in the start cooked the audio
Seems like this would be best for pre-builts since most buyers are never going to touch the paste
I expect these would be amazing for high performance laptops, since they typically don't get disassembled at all unless something goes terribly wrong and might be in service for many years
I assume it would be hard for labs to just assume they needed to run on and off stress tests over and over until it had that "break in" period
noctua is an overachiever in the best way possible
2:00 Isn't that.... The exact same selling point of ptm7950?????
Finally, my thermodynamics class from mech eng getting a use
Thermal Grizzly uses something similar, the KryoSheet. I use it for both my GPU and my CPU. It has a small performance hit, but doesn't dry out like paste does, so retains performance over a much longer period
That's my cat's tongue.
The person kept popping in and out around 4:53 got me dying
2:55 haha classic Riley :)
would love a long term test of this to test those claims of breaking even!
The good ole fire and forget- I mean apply and forget thermal solution
Props to the cameraman. Having to constantly move around so background people aren’t in the shot.
0:13 yoooooooo. I did Carbice low voltage installation that place is sick. facility is on point
