I don’t understand why people seem to think an all-screen phone means the end of Dynamic Island?? What reason is there to think that? The Dynamic Island functions fine as a concept without any notch at all. It would just get more space. They have just as much reason to remove the Dynamic Island as they do the status bar in the corners. That is, none at all. It makes sense to have a portion of the screen at a far edge dedicated to background tasks.

Just to say, Apple rarely says "this is the year we're going to polish the software and next year is the big updates". That is normally the leakers saying that year on year. I think the last time Apple actually said it was a performance year out right was iOS 12. if they don't say it in the keynote, they aren't pushing that message.
