I'm the IT Director in my company and I refuse to use any employee tracking. I told the Department Managers it's their responsibility to ensure their people are producing. IT isn't a tool of HR in my company and they haven't fired me yet.
Bossware feels like one of those ideas that looks efficient on a spreadsheet and toxic in real life. The more companies obsess over keystrokes, screenshots, green dots, and “risk scores,” the more they train employees to perform activity instead of produce results. Surveillance does not create trust. It usually proves trust was already broken.

For all the jobs that involve actually thinking about complex problems that take a while to solve, how will the company measure how hard you're thinking about the problem? Number of clicks? Mouse movement? How many formulas you type into a spreadsheet per hour?
Keyloggers are even more dangerous than you showed. They can be used to break into your other accounts. If you log into your private email account, they have the password you typed. This could be used to stalk an employee or even steal their identity.
My boss is the biggest culprit of MS Teams appear away yellow dot. And that is totally fine with us as a team, cause what matters the most is our clients finding our work satisfactory. If we slack too much it will def show up in our clients relations.

I’m an endpoint administrator for a pharmaceutical company, and we go out of our way to avoid invasive micromanagement. If your company does this then leave as quickly as your legs will carry you.
Most of these companies who want to track their employees have one thing in common - most of their "leadership" spends all day in useless meetings, pretending to be "working", when their employees are in a constant waiting mode before they can get something actually done. Producing useless data is same as littering, but not many people understand it.
