Remember when tech news was about cool new stuff instead of doom and gloom?
Anthropic: 'Please, we need to slow down AI development before it destroys society!' Also Anthropic: Files for an IPO and gives the dangerous AI to 150 more companies. 📈
Good to see Microslop still being 100% morally bankrupt.
Nobody can beat tech industry in a match of fumble
I have totally forgotten about GPU's being a thing since the launch of the 50 series, It seems like ever since then tech media was taken over by Ai related news and nothing much exciting about new hardware
Anthropic loves to do these news stunts, like it happened with mythos, that their models are so intelligent and advanced that "we need to restrict them", snd then get free new coverage every time some big ass company or giverment get access to their mega model. Meanwhile, in the real world, Opus struggles to recognize simple patterns, and tries to "fix code" by adding new spaghetti code on top of everything else, while giving you thousands of lines of comments that explain the same thing over and over and over again.
It's ridiculous by now. Every year an ai company goes around like "wow our models are sooo powerful that its dangerous. Ooooh, what could we possibly doo with this much power?" Meanwhile the existential threat struggles with hallucinating something coherent.
AI overlord: "Our model is too powerful, it is dangerous" Dangerous Model: "There are 25 "R"s in word 'Strawberry'"

7:39 30 sec unskippable ads!? Thank goodness I don't have to deal with that... Because I click the three dots for more options on the ad, and click "block" which automatically skips the ad. This is what everyone means when they say they use ad blockers right?
The thumbnail is spectacular
8:08 Cool. Now bring back my "next video" and "previous video" buttons
“Guys I swear, AI is so scary we have to stop this” - 1TR IPO
The only reason Anthropic is begging for legislation is because they are trying to limit their competition and prevent new AI startups or open source AI models. If you genuinely think that Anthropic is dedicating staff time to promote "AI safety" I genuinely wouldn't know what to say.
Can’t even afford a Steam Deck so definitely can’t afford a Steam Machine. I’ll be buying an iPad to game on instead.
0:15 I feel like im in the Taris fighting ring.
I literally just told a friend, "...and we have no idea when, or frankly if, the Steam Frame will ever release." I mean, it will still probably be over $1k, but it's something.
Delamain! lol.... good one
