Customs isn’t gonna care about you staying the another day or 5. They only want to know if you’re bringing anything back and what it is. I think I only had to throw out a couple vegetables once… you can bring back a case of Kraft Dinner no prob. They may also ask why you’re crossing at a different point of entry (if you are)… and that’s easily explained.
