Use an adaptor for ega to VGA then from VGA to HDMI then HDMI to display port 😂
HEY WAIT THIS IS MY NICHE!! FOR THAT OLD MONITOR! EGA to VGA Scan Converter #1 (Stupidly hard to come across) Any VGA to Composite Converter (PCtTV Converter) Take that setup, record the scanline from your EGA Monitor onto a vhs tape. Pop that VHS into another player that you have hopefully somehow already installed a circuit bender into (or if you use an external one, ORRR if you dont mind possibly breaking it, there are some crazy physical ones that work with magnets and stuff inside of the player to distort the output image) And BAM you have a SELF RECORDED VHS Scanline tape that you can circuit bend to hell and back, makes perfect for music videos and visualizers.

I'm not sure if there's something similar for EGA, but I've run my 1990 Cordata monitor that uses MDA using an arduino
for the iphone, i believe you can plug it into a computer and use itunes to reset it without the code
