The final chapter of our “Concrete” Chieftain restoration! When we bought this British Army Chieftain tank, it had been officially decommissioned and the engine bay had been completely filled with concrete to ensure it would never run again. Since 2021, we’ve been working to bring this incredible machine back to life. In this episode, we finish the restoration, fit the freshly painted engine and gearbox, complete the exterior paintwork and reveal the finished tank for the very first time. The transformation from the wreck we started with is hard to believe. With Operation Market Harborough just around the corner, “Concrete” is finally ready to return to action! Don’t forget to like, subscribe and let us know what you think of the finished restoration in the comments. #ChieftainTank #TankRestoration #MilitaryVehicles #MrHewes #OperationMarketHarborough ⸻ Get your tickets here https://omhevents.co.uk 🎵 Copyrighted music licensed from Lickd. https://lickd.co Nothing's Gonna Hurt You Baby by Cigarettes After Sex, https://t.lickd.co/l/mKOZZRPmOlJ
