Mine mostly did not use a stand for holding the hoof. Just their hands and they could let go very fast when needed !

I use to work as a hand and the dude that did these things showed me that usually if you build a good relationship with a horse theyll let you do their hooves without incident.the thin that holds up the hoof are usually for non compliant horses- which explains why this guy had a grip and went to reach for the hoof. The reason he cant blame the hand in this video is some horses are just uncomfortable with this being done but its REQUIRED as a basic hygiene. So all in all, everyone in this video horse, man and woman all felt the pressure. ๐

Thatโs awfully short and rounded for such a big hoof. I hardly think that horse needs that much of a rolled toeโฆ as for his fingers, hope theyโre alright. Iโve seen a nail driven straight thru a guys hand during horse shoeing school, itโs no joke!
