Honestly, if done correctly and ethically, taxidermy is so damn cool. Edit:Since yall are being jerks for a simple mistake, i changed it. Happy now?
GUYS HE ONLY USES DEAD BUTTERFLIES
That Disgusting and Awsome
Anyway, butterflies have a very short lifespan.
My grandpa before he died used to do this sorta thing, he found a similar specimen to this one and its currently hanging on my wall across from me, whenever i look at it it shows the true beauty of nature and the care that went into it even after it had passed
Fun fact: blue is rare naturally occurring colour
Imagine living your life fully free, and die free only for your corpse to undergo multiple procedures just to be turned into a art display
Tbh I would never do taxidermy just because touching dead stuff makes me panic internally and I couldn’t cope with it, but I do have a respect for it when it’s done ethically, I don’t like it at all when it’s unethical and it hurts the animal when it’s alive or kills it at a young age just for that, if it dies naturally like this creator does I love it, as if I am correct this creator takes care of these beautiful creatures until they die of old age and then preserves their body, which is sweet (Idk why people are so pressed, I’m not against it, I just find the concept of touching something dead to be disgusting for me, I also am not vegan or vegetarian, I eat meat, so idk if that will stop people being pissy at me, I really have no clue why)
This is known as pinning. As stated all you need is a dead insect of any variety (seasonal beetles are really good for this). Then just put them in a little box with a damp tissue, check back in a day to see if it's relaxed enough. If you leave them too long and they'll dissolve. Stick a pin in the thorax, stick that in to a bit of foam (the plasticy stuff). More foam on the sides for the wings. move wings to the desired pose using more pins and parchment paper. Let dry for at least a day. Remove all the pins except for the one in the thorax (it might break if you try to remove it). And that's it!
My fat ahh thought it was a chocolate butterfly
YALL usually when people do these kinds of things with butterflies and taxidermy then they prolly have a butterfly garden where alot of butter flies come and and when they die the person picks them up and does that.
Taxidermy is so cool
Should’ve had a funeral for the dead butterfly
A funeral of dead butterflies, I can only solemnly lament 🦋⚰️
Oh, so when this person plays with corpses, it's "art", but when I do it, I'm asked to leave the cemetery.
It's not water, It's Formaldehyde,
This is insane... It's simply amazing to see the funeral of a deas butterfly
She did not find that in the ground😅
"BILL. OH BILL. his soul lived forever mate, the ecos of his wings is heard in the deep forest oh mate" 🤣
Imagine there is a dead body of a human being decorated on the wall as decor 💀 btw no hate to this vid i actually think those decors are awsome and i also know he has a butterfly garden
