If you already had the tire dismounted off rim.. . Why not patch from the inside... a far better solution

For those who are telling this is a temporary fix,let me tell my experience on this: the puncture plugs are many a times of poor quality and hence dry up fast causing failure, the hole direction is wrongly identified for which new bigger tunnel is made while inserting these plugs and the old puncture still remains....if good quality repair kits are used with good vulcanising solution,these bond with the tires if inserted at correct angle aligned with the original puncture formed and I have driven thousands of kilometeres with these....but this is when I repair by myself,if I happen to come across a nearby repair shop,I will always prefer to repair from inside.Also almost all these videos show the repair process when tire is already deflated which is not correct,at first fill in air tightly and then start the repair steps.

I've repaired TONS of tires like this since the 1980s Never had one Fail... My Dads would even fix his Large Semi Truck Tires this way and Yes he did have some Fail...

Ещё моя бабушка ремонтировали так мои валенки. А её научил мой прапрадедушка. А я вожу с собой такой ремонтный набор, который лучше чем дерьмо,что идёт с завода, после которого только и остаётся что выкинуть покрышку.

As a retired flat rate auto tech , and tire shop owner . Its always best to do real tire repair .about 35 to 50% of plugged tires end up separating cords and complete tire failure. Very predictable also very dangerous. These are great for emergency situations in remote locations .go to a shop have the plug removed and repaired correctly .
