One of the funniest jokes in Deadpool & Wolverine doesn’t even fully pay off until after the credits. Throughout the movie, Wolverine thinks Deadpool basically got Johnny Storm killed after claiming Johnny went on an absolutely wild rant about Cassandra Nova. Johnny denies saying any of it, which makes it look like Wade completely made the whole thing up. Then the post-credit scene rolls around and Deadpool brings out the receipts. TVA footage shows Johnny saying exactly what Wade claimed he said and somehow the actual rant is even crazier than Deadpool’s version. The best part is Chris Evans ending the whole thing with “And you can quote me.” After spending years as Captain America, seeing Chris Evans come back as Johnny Storm just to deliver this completely unhinged monologue made the cameo even better.
