He has a trick to milk the last of the power out of the ring, this is DEFINITELY a regular occurrence. I think he just avoids recharging the ring because he feels disillusioned from the corps/guardians and resents having to recite the oath

I’m thinking the reason hal’s ring is constantly running out of battery is he’s always rushing the oath during recharge and he really doesn’t have the will he’s really done with all of it and that’s effecting how long her charge lasts for

I don't know, man. It just feels like the studio that makes this show went through great lengths to make it not a Green Lantern show, but put The Green Lantern ring in it. I seriously think that they had an old rejected script for a cop drama, and then just plopped Green Lantern right in it, because the script wasn't being greenlit for one reason or another.

That cable connection got his body looking stiff. Shoulda just filmed him from knees up and added the feet later. His body movement would look a lot more natural when he turns.
