The physics on this is messed up. Driver of the bike needs to lean hard right to counteract the left momentum of the catapulted person. And even then it's going to be REALLY difficult.

If Travis had another 10 years of crazy left in his body, he would likely land a bike on an airplane wing, bail over a ski jump and then land the bike on an offshore boat..
