I liked the table cloth corner ribbon detail. But I never cut fabric needlessly. I would have sewn small curtain rings to get the same effect. Easy to sew, easy to remove, & no damage to the fabric which will now fray when washed bc of cut edges!

As a seamstress, I would either seal the snipped hole edges with Fray-check or white glue OR make buttonholes. Either way, the material is reinforced....which could be also done with fusible interfacing on the backside before snipping.
I like paper plates for desserts. By the time you clean up the dinner dishes, you don't want anymore for dessert!
