I spent 7 days in Athens! 3 were spent exploring and eating and enjoying the vibes. I spent all the other days taking day trips. I went to Delphi, Cape Sounion and Nafpoli. I loved it. Just nerded out on ancient art.

The coastal line of Athens ,from Neo Faliro to Vouliagmeni, is SO underrated. I cant understand why is not even mentions that it is a walk worth doing. That alone is half a day but so worthy. How many capitals have a 30klm coastal line to the sea!!!

Athens is the capital, of course it will have a myriad of options for food/drinks. Most tourists use it as a way to take ships for the islands. Seaside southern Athens is a jewel to behold and Pireaus itself has some of the best seafood restaurants of the country. Nightlife in Athens is also unmatched, especially in the winter months when the lives re-open. In general it’s one of the greatest cities to live in if you have the money. There is a reason a lot of foreign football / basketball athletes get addicted to and remain in the city even after retiring. Ronaldinho used to fly in the weekends to enjoy the clubbing / live scene. The variety is endless. Happy that you enjoyed your stay!

I had just visited Greece this summer and the highlight of the trip was DEFINITELY the food! I absolutely love all the pasta in Athens and I absolutely had a blast! I’m glad you got to experience it!
