SUNDAY RESET + A VERY BIG DAY! 🩰🥹❤️ Today’s video is a little bit of everything and one of those days I know I’ll remember forever. We’re starting with a slow and peaceful Sunday morning routine. With school back in session, weekday mornings can be completely hectic, and Saturdays are usually filled with sports, activities, games, birthday parties, and rushing everyone somewhere! But Sunday mornings? Sunday mornings are for slowing down a little bit. ❤️ I’m enjoying some quiet time, getting ready for the day, tackling a little laundry, and soaking up the peaceful moments before the rest of the house wakes up. And of course, I’m still absolutely obsessed with our kids' artwork gallery wall! 😂 Seriously, I will talk about framing your kids' artwork until the day I can't talk anymore. It brings me SO much joy walking down the hallway and seeing the colorful things they created displayed around our home. I already need to go back to IKEA for more frames! But then comes the BIG moment... 🥹🩰 I took Eleanor to get fitted for her very first pair of POINTE SHOES! This is such a huge milestone in a dancer's journey, and I don't think I fully understood just how emotional this moment would be until I shared it with all of you. So many former dancers told me they could vividly remember getting their very first pair of pointe shoes—even decades later—and it honestly made me tear up. I am SO incredibly proud of Eleanor and all of the hard work, dedication, strength, and years of training that have brought her to this moment. Pointe work is beautiful and graceful, but dancers put their bodies through so much to make something incredibly difficult look completely effortless. Watching her take this next step in her dance journey was such a special moment for me as her mom. 🥹❤️ So come spend this Sunday with us as I slow down, reset, enjoy a peaceful morning, get my life together a little bit, and celebrate one VERY special milestone with my girl! I really appreciate your voice overs in place of music. I mentioned to you before that you kept me company during nighttime feedings when my fourth baby was born in 2022. Last fall we had our fifth baby extremely premature. It was a three hour round-trip drive to the Nicu that I did every other day for 10 weeks. On the days I was by myself I always listen to your videos. So thank you for being a friend! Ps- I am so happy that your art wall is bringing you so much joy! I don’t know anything about psychology, but I would have to think that that is very positive for your children to see you proud and showcasing their work.

My daughter-in-law was a big time ballerina, she finally had to give it up after 3 children. I loved watching her dance it was beautiful!💖
I dont comment often but I wanted to share how I remember to move my laundry to the dryer. I timed the washer and know that most loads take about 40 min. So I tell "Alexa" to set a 40 min timer. When the timer goes off I stop what I am doing and move the load. I agree with other commenters that your German bench would look nice in your bedroom.

I am 66 years old and still have my first per of points, when I was finished with the first per my mother kept them and gave them back to me on my 21st birthday and to this day I still have them hanging up in my dressing room, so if Eleonor does not keep them, then you keep them and don't tell her and give them back at a milestone birthday. xoxox
