ozokwor has a point but i agree with Sheldon. My mum started taking care of herself from class 2 and struggled as a single mum to put 3 kids through uni, etc. She said none of her children will suffer like she did, we've never lacked anything but we're wise and are doing well. It's the upbringing i guess. Your children need to appreciate your struggle enough to want to also give their kids better than they had imo.

But I agree with Sheldon. Your children shouldn’t have to go through your struggles. They are innocent, and I don’t think any parent knowingly brings a child into this world just to suffer before succeeding. What if they don’t survive? Would you blame them or yourself? Some of us struggled not because our parents wanted us to. If they had the money, we wouldn’t have struggled like that. I remember my dad saying he would do everything he could to give me the best education and support me as far as I wanted to go. Unfortunately, he passed away. So, even though some of us had poor parents, we could feel their love and their desire to do more for us if they had the means.

Imagine letting my son or daughter pass through the kind of treatment I went through at the hands of my step dad !!! , as Sheldon said , if he gets into my shoes , he will die before making it 💔
