Why is no one realizing that Zamil isn’t actually being religious here, he’s using deen for validation and for his own satisfaction that he’s better than Zaryab and Abu Bakar in something if not academically, then religiously. He’s continuously ridiculing and belittling Zaryab, especially with the whole “Harvard jaane walon ko deen ka kya pata hoga?” attitude. Like have you actually noticed what he’s doing? He’s clearly using deen to make himself feel superior.

Zamil is completely a red flag. He is incapable of taking responsibility for his own insecurities and the wrong decisions he has made. Instead, he puts the entire blame on Zaryab and convinces himself that he is completely innocent. He may be trying to follow religion, but he clearly hasn’t learned the most basic lesson of it how to treat another person with kindness, respect, and compassion. Practicing religion is not just about following rules; it is also about taking accountability for your actions and not hurting people while pretending to be righteous.
Guys, how can you blame Zaryab? Can’t you see Zamil blames her for everything, even his own decisions? If he wants to be a good Muslim, he should first learn to treat others better. Stop blaming a woman for everything just because he’s failing to become a practicing Muslim.

Nameer is a show stealer. He’s been getting the best scripts since Qarz-e-Jaan. He brings so much depth to these complex characters that you can understand what makes them the way they are. He steals every scene he’s in. Surely has a great career ahead of him.
