"You sound Igbotic." As opposed to sounding what, exactly? I genuinely don't understand why so many Nigerians use that as if it's an insult. I'm Igbo, I grew up in the East, so of course I might sound "Igbotic." My accent, expressions, pronunciation and even the way I structure some sentences are influenced by where I grew up and the language I grew up around. Why is that something to be ashamed of? It's no different from shaming someone for looking Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa. At what point did looking or sounding like your own people become something we're supposed to apologise for? Would you tell an Italian person, "You sound Italian," (are they supposed to sound German?) with the intention of embarrassing them? Would that even make sense? People need to get a grip.
TELL YOUR NEIGHBOURS DIMMA HAS POSTED!!! 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾
This notification made me so happy! 🥳🥳🥳 Also, I'll take "you have sense" over "you are fine" 1 million times.
The way I cracked up when Dimma said "the construction has been going on since my husband was doing me girlfriend" so Igbo woman coded 😂😂😂😂😂😂
✨Jesusssssssssss Iyeeeeeeeeee he has done it again, after God knows how long😢🎉🎉
I missed you to the point that I had to watch some of your old videos last week. Don't disappear on us again Biko.. I think my heart can't take it😅
DIMMA!!! The way you said and always say “AVACADO” just transported me straight back to my university days!!! My closest friend back then, who is Igbo, used to ALWAYS say “AVACADO” and, as ridiculous as it sounded to everyone else, I found it ridiculously endearing. Somehow, that tiny, silly word became one of the little things that made me so fond of her, and eventually, we became best friends. We were SO close that till date, everyone who knew us back then thinks I’m Igbo! We were two Nigerian girls, single and figuring life out in a foreign land, taking every opportunity to travel, laugh, make memories and just LIVE. Now we’re married, have kids, live in different parts of the world and have a million different things going on, but every time I hear you say AVACADO, I’m instantly that girl again. It brings back an entire era of my life in the sweetest way. And honestly, being a content creator has taught me that some people will ALWAYS find something condescending to say because apparently their brains were left behind in their mother’s birth canal, so I don’t even give a hoot about whatever nonsense they spew out. Meanwhileeeee, your makeup during the sit-down segment was STUNNING!!! And this honeymoon has you glowing with every possible shade of happiness, peace, beauty and the kind of soft life you truly deserve, Dimma. May this season give you the kind of memories that, years from now, will randomly make you smile and think, “Wow, what a beautiful time in my life.” And may you ALWAYS have a better tomorrow, regardless of whatever life throws your way. You deserve that and so much more. 🫂💕
Y’all : DIMMA took me out of a boring 😴 phone conversation when I heard and saw her notification 🔔 Welcome back 💚
Dimma, dont mind them, you are free to say avacado, and we will know and understand. It doesn’t take away from the fact that you are well educated and even internationally educated. Some people perhaps are intimidated by the aesthetic and intellectual superiority of the quality of your content and they try to attempt to knock you down to make themselves better. It says a lot about them. Ps we are waiting for a perfume vlog please
The scream I scrumtt when I saw this video 🥳🥳😂 Finally
Denmark, you will be shocked how many of us watch you! I am in my late 50s and I have been watching you for some years now. Truly, you have sense and I love your content so much.
