That they would rewrite their own severance package suggests that that is what they actually wanted.
This sounds like an elaborate plan for the board to leave a company they knew was going downhill with 8 million dollars, that seems like pirate activity haha
The concept that you can plan to hijack a corporation for 33 hours and make $8 million is ridiculous
“you’re fired” “ok” changes board permissions “actually you’re all fired”

8 million dollar severance package. *wipes, tears away with $100 bills*
Rare footage of Fireship not making video about AI
starting a coup to write your own severance package has to be some sort of fraud
isn't this a plot line from Silicon Valley? Matt's burning man is Gavin's triathlon
"CEOs don't want you to know this one small trick"
"I'm not a troll, I'm a pirate" okay we get it, you're cool.
I'm confused. Any CEO can just write themselves a severance package of whatever number they want and it be legal? That's nuts. I'm surprised we haven't seen severance packages that bankrupt massive corporations more often.
So they all got fired? And got an 8 million severance bonus? They must feel really bad about it.
the idea that you can conspire to hijack a company for 33 hours and make 8 million of that is crazy
Ah it's nice to have some good old Automattic drama instead of the daily AI drama
That self-written severance agreement won't hold up, and frankly was the dumbest idea they could have had. Other than try to 'fire' the guy who controls 84% of voting shares. Any decent law firm will use the severance agreement written within hours of taking leadership, as evidence of bad faith intentions. God help them if they built the severance plan before the board voted...and failed to tell the board before the vote. "Dumb" gets the upgrade to "fraud", fast.
4:14 how is that not fraud?
you really never know what's going on inside a company that ghosted your application
no AI report, must be the wind
So basicly the board said "i don't wanna anymore, let's quit this job and still get t9ns of money!!" ?
