The thrusters are so strong that they deal lethal damage to any person standing closer than 2 meters to them. The car also has very loud noise

the down payment is 250k, itll be around 1.5-2 mill which is still not bad considering it has spacecraft technology. (note, this is for the people who are invited to buy the rocket spec not the lower models)

Unfortunately, sales for the rocket trim model (the one that actually flies) are invite-only, so they won't be commercially available to consumers. The thrust trim model, however (back thrusters for the 0.6 second 0-60) will be commercially available, and will require a deposit of $250,000. The performance trim model (suction fan bottom, drives on ceilings) will also be commercially available, with a deposit of $50,000. They also only have two seats, with the rocket trim having one. Also fun fact: the thrusters actually run on air, and the compressed air tanks refill themselves automatically as you drive!

As someone with an engineering background, I can only speculate and ask, how large must the tanks be to hold so much compressed air? No matter the type of chemical or air that is stored to output so much potential energy into thrust, it will be very large tanks. Meaning, the “car” is just a shell comprised entirely of tanks/air tanks and there’s only very small motors in this “car” with a small enough battery to power said motors for the length of the demo…. This is just another stunt to appease the shareholders/investors or future potential investors for long enough to get more money, than delay it another 10 years… Smart move.
Irl rocket league will go crazy
