It's pretty damn sad when you have to pretend to threaten physical violence just to get people to obey the law and do the right thing.

My uncle used to leave a cinder block at the curb because every day this guy would use his neighborhood as a cut through at highway speeds, but he could be heard coming. So my uncle would walk into the middle of the street with the block above his head. Guy stopped uaing the neighborhood as a shortcut when he realized his windsheild was in jeopardy.
