The Polestar 2 shares most of its components with a Volvo XC40, including motors and battery. Even the seats are the same. And they're not expensive or hard to find.

Use you scan tool and instead of Polestar diagnostics go to Volvo and choose xc40 or c40 recharge and you'll have all the active tests and special functions. Had to do that on my 24.
