There's no lawsuit. This is a consensual conversation the officer didn't detain him. He asked for I.D which he's allowed to do but he didn't demand the I.D. The officer had every legal right to ask him questions but not enough to detain him. The cop didn't detain him and when he had enough evidence to show this is not the suspect he went about his day. No rights are violated.

He was being detained for an investigation at that point he was required to provide iD once the cop knew he wasnt the suspect he was no longer detained. The cop had the right to ask but the biker also had the right to refuse. I wasn't a lawful order it was a question. He said can i look at your license. He didnt ordered him to provide it
